| − | I run a bed and breakfast in Virginia and am starting to add "green" systems to this 1884 home. From simple things like better ventilation in the attic and basement, using fresh air instead of A/C when possible and painting the roof white instead of black to complex things like adding a home-made, solar, pre-heater to feed the hot water tanks. Eventually I plan to install solar panels, a geo-thermal heat pump and maybe a wind turbine. |

| − | While people don't yet come here for the ecotourism, I would like to make this a model home for people to experience first hand the comforts (and savings) of a more green lifestyle and then discuss it around the breakfast table in the morning. The green additions already come up in conversations from anything from the price of gas to the weather! |
